Field Trips

Field Trips to our farm are a great way to get familiar with being around horses and riding without jumping into lessons. Trips to the farm are open to groups large and small. We love to share our horses! We have several options to choose from. Please allow 3-4 weeks for scheduling. For more information and scheduling contact us today.

We never want financial burden to prevent someone enjoying time with a horse. Our First Place Field Trip is a free will donation or perhaps your group would like to donate some volunteer hours and assist with a project on the farm or fundraising event. All tour groups have free use of our outside picnic tables and/or snack room. You are welcome to pack a lunch or snack and stay to enjoy the country after your visit. The Schuylkill River Trail is accessible from our property for those of you who would like to take a hike or walk as well. For more adventuresome folks there is also Shady Hollows’ own “Waters Meeting” Trail, a rugged trail around our fields which meanders down to the river and back.
